Okinawan Weapons, Yakuza Monkey Part II

Completed! Most of my time was not spent drawing, but rather on research, deciding what weapons to do, and tattoos. Tattoos were hard, but they were fun to do. Not as detailed as I'd like them to be, but there's a first time for everything! As for weapons, I've done many iterations of the Onikawan weapon types, as well as potential Yakuza weapons (Aside from firearms). These are still just placeholders. Composing this with another character for a scene!

Yakuza Monkey

Just like to look at my own progress with this. Trying a new technique taught by my professor, a way to make the overall work a bit tighter which involved just throwing down shapes, adjust the values, and then perk it up that way. No lineart, which scared me.

Beyond Batman Joker

took 3 days to make this, in between How I Met Your Mother marathons and dicking around online. not 100% but I devoted several days to make something I wouldnt put in my portfolio hohoho
