Months overdue

Long overdue character designs. I think it's quite obvious that I am more of a character guy than an environment. Mostly because I'm too scared to go for an environment all the way. 

Forest Iterations

Since I"m not very familiar with environments, these are my earlier iterations. I had some guidance from my professor on subsequent ones and I also looked at how people did their environments. I just wanted an environment with trees, and a bony looking tent. Then I scrapped it.

I "pushed" this piece another 10%, gave it a little oomph to it as it still felt like there was a lack of contrast. Professor Ellen again helped me with it. I will upload a LAST iteration once my finals are over with because I can't concentrate on it.

Forest Stream

Never completed an environment piece before only because I was too scared to approach these kinds of paintings. A lot of guidance from my professor, Ellen Over, helped me finally complete it. I'm pretty happy with it so far.
